Technical Schedule

FACILITIES

SEATING

• 956 seats on one level.

• Seating is traditional style with three sections and four isles.

• Farthest seat is 97’ from plaster line.

• Currently rows are marked seats are not.

• Space is available at the front right section of the auditorium, which can accommodate twenty-five

folding chairs, or ten wheelchairs and ten folding chairs for those accompanying.

• Currently space is available in the center seating section of the auditorium, which may

accommodate three wheelchairs or other special needs seating.

• Maximum seating at any time is 1000.

• The extreme sightline eye point is located 16’ from plaster line, 24’ from centerline.

• The house floor is dished, and is 3’8” below the stage at its lowest point. Notice: the rake of the floor is

shallow the stage floor may not be seen by the front half of the audience.

STAGE

Dimensions

• Proscenium width – 47’

• Proscenium height – 20’

• Proscenium thickness – 2’ 4”

• Apron depth – 8’ 6” (CL to PL), tapers to 5’ 10” each side.

• Stage depth - 36’ 6” (PL to back wall).

• SL Wing width – 20’

• SR Wing width - 16’ (to locking rail.)

• Grid height – 47’ 4”

• Pin/Loading Rail height – 20’

Deck

• The stage floor is hardwood in the performance area. Softwood in the wings and across the

upstage area. Notice: The floor may not be marked with anything other than “Spike Tape” or “Gaffers Tape”.

No screws or nails larger than 6d may be driven into the floor.

• The floor is laid on soft wood, which is laid on concrete. (Not sprung)

• A trap door 5’ deep by 10’ wide is located center stage 14’ from plaster line.

• A “Marley” type performance/dance floor is available.

Access

• The hospitality entrance (Double doors, fire rated) is located stage left center.

• The stage is accessible from the house via stairs on either side of the apron.

• The stage is accessed from the backstage area via hospitality common hallway. The door is

labeled STAGE.

• Four 20 amp circuits stage left wing.

ORCHESTRA PIT

Dimensions

• Width – 43’

• Depth – 8’ (CL)

• Distance below stage – 5’

• Distance below house floor – 11”

Equipment

• 2 - 20 amp circuits.

• 9’ by 6’ hydraulic lift located on stage right side of the pit. (No full orchestra lift).

• The pit is equipped with a removable decking (cover), which is carpeted.

• Capacity is 30 musicians.

The orchestra pit is extremely “live”.

The apron face and front rail can be lined with fabric, and the front rail height can be adjusted to help control

the sound. The floor is carpeted.
